Troubleshooting Tips
Before submitting a request, see if these common issues can be resolved
First, check if the reset button on the bottom of the disposal needs to be pressed. If that doesn't work, check your circuit breaker. Make sure no silverware or hard objects are stuck in the disposal.
Try using a plunger first. Place it over the drain opening and plunge vigorously for 15-20 seconds. If this doesn't work, please submit a maintenance request.
This usually indicates a low battery. Replace the 9-volt battery in the detector. If beeping continues after battery replacement, submit a maintenance request.
Air filters should be changed every 1-3 months depending on usage. Standard filter sizes are listed in your lease. You can purchase replacement filters at any hardware store.
Check your thermostat settings and batteries. Ensure the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Check if the air filter is dirty and needs replacement. If these steps don't resolve the issue, submit a maintenance request.
For minor issues, try over-the-counter pest control solutions. For persistent or severe infestations, submit a maintenance request and we'll arrange professional pest control.
